Naprostou raritu má ve svém kádru Central Gang Valašské Meziříčí v kategorii HOBBY. Hraje za něj totiž třináctiletý Kryštof Hrubec, který tak mezi mantinely čelí převaze dospělých protivníků.
Central Gang zatím na první výhru z Open Game čeká. Ve čtvrtek podlehl ČeskoSlovenské Pijatyce (3:6) a Hradci nad Moravicí (0:7). Druhý den turnaje potom bojoval s Panthers Pohořelice (0:6) a IBK Vladimír (2:4).
Právě po čtvrtém duelu na turnaji mluvil na rozhovoru jednoznačně nejmladší hráč Kryštof Hrubec. „Letošní Open Game si užívám, jde to. Jsem sice malej, ale snažím se,“ řekl třináctiletý bojovník v dresu Valašského Meziříčí.
Zároveň ale přiznal, že není snadné bojovat s takovou převahou. „Je to těžké. Ale dělám i hokej, kde taky hrávám proti větším. Tady je to zase trochu jiné, těžší než na hokeji,“ popisoval Hrubec. Bere tento turnaj jako bonusové zkušenosti, když hraje tak těžké zápasy? „Určitě jo,“ dodal.
V posledním utkání skupiny čeká Central Gang mužstvo Skurut Hai, které se zatím drží na prvním místě tabulky.
