Všechny body na úvod Brno Open Game získali starší žáci Panthers Praha. Zápas proti SK JeMoBu zvládli 6:3, když si udělali slušný náskok v první půlce hry. Letošní premiéru přiblížil Marek Urban, který dal gól a přidal dvě asistence.
Máte za sebou první utkání proti SK JeMoBu. Jak se vám podle tebe povedl?
Na to, že šlo o úvodní zápas, jsme zahráli celkem solidně. Pro nás podařený vstup do turnaje. Mám dobrý pocit z našeho výkonu.
Další duel vás čeká večer proti Hornets Brno. Co bude potřeba doladit?
Za mě jsme hráli celkem dobře. Takže uvidíme, co do příště vylepšíme. Teď přesně nevím, ale trenér nám ke hře určitě ještě něco řekne.
Loni se Panthers dostali na Open Game až do finále. Může letošní tým starších žáků tento úspěch napodobit?
Rozhodně může. Každý tým, který tady hraje, má stejnou šanci zvítězit. Takže jasně, že i my. (smích)
Letošní ročník je trochu neobvyklý kvůli koronaviru. Už máte s týmem nějaký nevšední zážitek z turnaje?
Zatím asi ne, protože jsme přijeli do Brna teprve dnes ráno. Pořád jsme tady takoví nováčci. Nic, co by stálo za zmínku, se nepřihodilo.
Jak hodnotíš úroveň aktuálního ročníku Open Game?
Určitě se zde pravidelně schází týmy nejvyšší kvality. Každopádně kvůli koroně letos přijely většinou jen české týmy. Turnaj tak sice na kvalitě neklesá, ale je škoda, že tentokrát chybí soupeři ze zahraničí, proti kterým bychom měli porovnání s dalšími taktikami.
